Eddisbury - Bob Thompson

Bob Thompson has been selected as the Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Eddisbury constituency. Born, brought up and educated in Chester, he returned to Cheshire in 1991 and has lived and worked here ever since. Now retired, Bob was formerly HR director of INEOS Chlor Vinyls in Runcorn. He has been a councillor continuously since 2002, first on Chester City Council, the on Cheshire West and Chester Council. He is also Chair of Chester and District Housing Trust and a director of CLASP (a charity helping the homeless in Cheshire)

Weaver Vale - Peter Hampson

Peter Hampson has been selected as the Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Weaver Vale constituency. Peter has worked with Liberal Democrats in Westminster and with local election candidates in Wales, including standing himself for a Ceredigion County Council seat. He has now returned to his native Weaverham, in Weaver Vale constituency. A young, dynamic law graduate and enthusiastic Liberal Democrat, Peter is making his career in politics.
